Every project starts with a phone call to discuss your project, and for you to learn more about Kat Freeman Designs. After the phone call, we will schedule an in-home/on-site consultation to gather the specifics of the project, assess your needs, goals and determine the project’s scope, challenges, time frame and decide how best to move forward. After the consultation, Kat Freeman Designs will create a design proposal that outlines the scope of your project and the design fee.

After proposal approval, on-site measurements and pictures are taken. Meet with trade partners for the project, create floor plans and develop unique design plan. Design Presentation scheduled to review concept boards, schematic designs, and cost estimate. After receiving your feedback, we will make any necessary changes. Final Design Presentation will include the final construction documents, cost, and design details for items that are being purchased. After approval, the purchasing all items identified in the design plan will take place.

We will then assist you with selecting the right contractor and/or tradespeople, review proposed timelines, and provide the necessary detailed specifications and drawings. After the start of construction, we will work closely with the contractors and visit the job site regularly to oversee that the work is progressing on schedule and as planned. Following construction, for the Final Reveal, we will coordinate the delivery and installation of your furnishing and accessories so that you can now enjoy your new space.
